If you're interested in the game but not sure which character you want to play, or if you're testing out a new one, or if you just want to thread with someone, this is the place to do it. If you want to play your characters as already having Dream Eaters, that's just fine too - that's part of the fun of this game, after all!

[She takes down the first Nightmare with little trouble, slamming a fist into it and twisting her body to kick out at another.

She hadn't expected company though and spots the boy as she turns.]

Huh?

[A Meow Wow lunges at her from the right and she knocks it back.]

Yeah, sure, whatever.

[You're not going to get much conversation. She's focused on a fight right now.]

[One key kid joining in, rather impressed with the way Yang is taking on the nightmares. He hasn't really seen anyone use their fists before, especially with what looks like magic.

He throws Oathkeeper like a boomerang to some komory bats, whiles slashing at a pricklemane.]</small.

[Giant keys are new to her too. She's seen a lot of strange weapons though, so it doesn't phase her for long. Besides, as mentioned previously, she has to focus on the fight at hand.

It's time to take on the giant panda bear. Yang rushes it, jumping into the air and expelling another shot from her gauntlets. She lands behind the beast and punches it in the back, hard. Dang. These are the weakest Grimms she's ever fought. True there are a good number of them, but they aren't any more difficult than Grimm she has fought in the past.]

Not so tough now, huh!

[She slams her fist into the Panda again and it clatters into a pile of shiny objects. She leaves those for the moment. They're down to just a few Nightmare now.]

[Roxas finished off another Meow Wow with a fireball, and Bouncer meow wounces a hebby repp, taking care of the ones he had left. He turns to watch Yang take out the Kooma Panda.]

Pretty good for someone who's new here.

[burnblonde]

[Yang ends by smacking down one final Komory Bat.

She straightens, tossing her hair back and grinning.]

Oh, I fight monsters like that more often than you'd think.

[She smiles and turns to him.]

So, now that that's out of the way. Mind telling me what those were?

[Seems like monsters are a common theme in a lot more worlds than Roxas thought.]

They're called dream eaters. They're monsters that live here. The type we were fighting are called nightmares, and then there's good kinds that help you out. They're spirits.

[He indicates his meow wow, who is snuffling around Yang's feet because new person! Hi!]

[Yang looks down at the little creature remaining and seems to be taking this all in. At least she doesn't seem too confused by it.]

He's a cute little guy.

So the brightly colored ones are good and the darker colored ones are bad. Got it.

[seasaltkeys]

They can be, yeah.

[Bouncer wuffs at the mention of him being cute, before flopping down onto his back, asking for his tummy to be rubbed.]

But yeah, you got it. But you haven't made your own yet, have you?

[burnblonde]

Oh. Sweet little guy. [She coos as she leans down and starts rubbing on his tummy. He's super squishy and Yang loves it.]

No, I haven't yet. Kinda got distracted with the Nightmares attacking.

[Yang you have a new best friend.]

His name's Bouncer.

You should have been given dream pieces. If you put them together they make a dream eater.
