If you want to play your characters as already having Dream Eaters, that's just fine too - that's part of the fun of this game, after all!

[Fang the Komory Bat is out exploring without his person. He's not really supposed to wander off on his own, but his person is sleeping and that means free time, right? Right!]

[He's flitting around town, looking for something fun to do, when he spots something great: a new person. At least, he thought it was a new person, since Fang hasn't seen him before. He flaps over to the new person and lands near him, squeaking. Hi! You're new, right? He hasn't seen you before, so you must be new! Hi, new Person! Where's your Spirit?]

[Of course, since Fang doesn't exactly speak person, it probably all sounds like a lot of enthused squeaking.]

[Webster isn't afraid of bats, it's just, he figures bright colors in the animal kingdom usually means stay the fuck away and don't approach. It's probably poisonous. But. Were bats poisonous? Could they be? Well. It was a dream world right? Anything could happen...]

Hey, noisy! Uh...nice weather we're having right? Um. How about you go squeak over there instead of over here and I can just, walk this way. Away from you. [And don't mind him but he's going to just slowly inch away.]

[Oh yes, he's very poisonous. Toxic levels of friendly and clueless.]

[That is to say, he's completely harmless unless you're a Nightmare, and persons can't be Nightmares, so he must be friendly! Fang squeaks a question and leans back, rolling entirely on to his back to look at the sky. Yep, weather's pretty nice! Then again, it's pretty nice all the time, so that's good, right? He rolls back to his feet in time to see the person scooting away. Oh, are they moving? Okay! He just bounces along next to the person's feet. Where're we going? Are we going to meet other persons? They should totally go meet his person!]
