Voice Test Post

Just what it says on the box! If you're interested in the game but not sure which character you want to play, or if you're testing out a new one, or if you just want to thread with someone, this is the place to do it. If you want to play your characters as already having Dream Eaters, that's just fine too - that's part of the fun of this game, after all!

[They do match! And a lot more than can be said for the Pricklemane and his person. Unless the hair counts, and the Doctor's hair isn't nearly spiky enough to be much similar to how Pricklemanes tend to look.

As for those senses and what they're telling Croach... well, he'd be absolutely right to think that two hearts is absolutely not the normal number for humans. It is, however, the normal number for people of his race, which is only humanoid in appearance. Anything past that... well, that's where things start to get a little strange and it's not just the two hearts he has that's a little bit odd.

But he has no way of knowing that Croach has picked up on the fact that he's perhaps not so human after all, and so he simply continues as he usually does when he's meeting someone for the first time. That he's talking to someone who's blue doesn't seem to bother him at all.]

It's very nice to meet you. I'm the Doctor.

[Oh, that's okay! Not every Person has to match their Spirit. He just thought it was really cool that he and his person match, that's all! Is your person friendly?]

[There are no less than four physiological anomalies that Croach can sense; there may be more that are less outwardly obvious. Continued observation would be necessary if he ever wanted to discern what]

Do you lack a primary designation?

[An introduction like that is akin to Croach introducing himself as simply, "the Tracker." - odd, even by human standards.]

[As far as he can tell, yes! He's only just recently met his person after all. But that scarf looks like it might be fun to play with.

As for the Doctor himself and Croach's assumptions, well... odd is rather the name of the game here. 750-odd years of traveling through space and time will rather do that to a person. But really, all Croach has to do is ask about it. He's young enough to not see much of a problem in admitting to where he's from. Most people haven't even heard of it, after all!]

A primary desig... oh, you mean a name. Yes, I do. But I rather like this one better. Much more suited, you see.

[They should totally play with the scarf. That's a great idea! The Meow Wow bounces forward and sniffs at the scarf. How do they go about this?]

[That...makes no sense. In any capacity. He understands that humans have a tendency towards misdesignation, but to have a proper designation and refuse to use it simply baffles him.]

You want to be recognized by an improper designation?

Suited to what?

[There's a moment of silence from the Pricklemane at that. The idea is all he's managed to get to so far, and it's not always the easiest to get from that to actually doing anything. But in the name of trying he scoots over closer to the scarf before basically head-butting it.]

You can consider it a title, if it helps.

And suited to me, of course!
